Carpet One is a cooperative with thousands of flooring stores throughout the United States. They have all the buying buyer of a big box retailer, but all of their stores are locally owned and operated, meaning they can offer customers the great prices on flooring and still retain the trust and sense of community afforded to local businesses.
In recent years, consumers have begun to make a point of shopping locally, and Carpet One wanted to remind consumers that they're locally owned and operated, too. During the month of November, Carpet One ran a shop "local campaign" in anticipation of Small Business Saturday to encourage people to shop at their local carpet one stores. The program aesthetic was designed with GPS visuals and language in mind to drive home the fact that with over 1000 stores nation wide, the local Carpet One was right around the corner.
